Journey Details Help

The screen shows the complete details for the journey selected. It presents each leg of the journey with origin and destination locations and times, service number and description with the appropriate operator. You will notice symbols for the various modes of transport. There are also links to maps, timetables and walk details.

Journey Leg Map Button

If you click on a "Map" button next to a particular leg of the journey you will be able to see that leg displayed on a map. Once displayed on a map, you will also be able to click through the various journey legs.

Details Button

If you need instructions on exactly where to walk, click the "Details" button. You will be provided with step by step instructions.

Timetable Button

When you click a "Timetable" link from the journey details section of a journey plan, you will present the timetable for that service. You will notice that the entire timetable for the selected service is presented. This is useful since you can view information relating to earlier or later trips. The relevant section of the timetable that is used in the journey leg will be highlighted.

Alter Journey Button

You can alter the settings of your current enquiry by pressing the "Alter Journey" button.

New Journey Button

Click this if you would like to start your enquiry from scratch.

Map Button

If you wish to view the entire route of this particular journey click the "Map” button. This will open the map screen and show the journey. Once displayed on a map, you will also be able to click through the various journey legs.

Go Back Button

In order to return to the previous page, click the “Go Back” button.

Return Journey Button

If you would like to view a journey plan for the return journey, click the “Return Journey” button.
